Affiliates Program Terms and Conditions.

What do you earn?

Claybourg International, LLC will pay a 20% commission to each sale forwarded by an advertisement link or image on your website or blog on all products except the art and gourmet food categories (and recipes which are free anyway).

How do we pay?

At the end of each month we are generating a report and if your earnings are $25 or above we will send you a payment for the amount on your account by increment of $25. If your account is $35, your payment will be $25 and $10 balance will stay on your account until it reaches $25 again. If you decide to leave the program we will send you the full balance on your account. The first payment will be made by check (except for outside USA residents), ongoing payments can be made via PayPal if you chose this option (recommended).

Outside the USA residents:

If you reside outside the USA, all payments will be made via PayPal and in US dollars only (PayPal will automatically convert the amount to your home currency). Your PayPal account must be a verified account, no exception. Country specific rules may apply for PayPal to verify your account. Make sure you qualify before joining our program. Earnings will not be paid until your PayPal account is verified and we reserve the right to forfeit your earnings and close your affiliate account if PayPal can’t verify you.

30 days buffer period for commission payments:

Please note that earnings must be 30 days old before they can be paid, this is to ensure we are not paying our affiliates a commission on products that has been returned by customers and make sure their checks have cleared in case they are paying by check. Therefore, even if your affiliate summary shows that you earned at least $25, your commission will not be paid until the order is over 30 days old as we will not accept returns from customers after this period. In the event a check does not clear or the customer returns the product, the sale and your commission for this sale only will be cancelled.

US Treasury income tax obligations:

Once payments towards your account reach $600 you will be asked to provide a tax ID (for companies) or SS # (for individuals) so we can issue a 1099 tax form at the end of the fiscal year. No commission payment will be made above $600 until this information has been provided in order to comply with the US Internal Revenue Services (IRS). All earnings above $600 will be forfeited for the year in question if you chose not to provide your tax ID or SS# by year-end closing.

If you are residing outside the USA you do not need to provide a non US Tax ID or SS# but, we will take a 28% mandatory tax withholding on each commission payment to be paid to the IRS, which you can claim back from the IRS at the end of the US fiscal year.

Leaving the program:

There is no other obligation for the affiliate. If you decide to remove our advertising from your website or leave the program you are free to do so at your convenience; just let us know so we can close your account.
