Shipping conditions
Note: Orders usually ship withing 48 hours. However, to prevent credit card frauds we reserve the right to wait an extra couple of days and request confirmation from the client and/or the credit card company.
1) Satisfaction Guarantee: In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your product, we allow returns within 10 business days from the date of purchase. The return must be requested within this period and then pre-approved. We recommend that you send the item back via a traceable carrier such as UPS, DHL or FedEx and insure it at your expense. If you chose not to use this type of carrier, we will not be liable in case it is lost or broken at arrival. If it is damaged during transit, we will not be able to refund your purchase; you must then issue a claim with your carrier. We will refund your purchase once the item has been received and inspected; it must not have been used at all and must not be damaged in any way. Please email us using the “contact us” form.
2) Merchandise damaged in transit: Unless you issued a claim with the carrier driver at arrival and can provide us with a copy, you must email us pictures of the damaged item so we can file a claim with our carrier. To do so please send us an email using the “contact us” form and we will let you know which email address to send your photos. We will not be able to issue the claim, thus replace your purchase without pictures or copy of the carrier claim. Once we receive the pictures, we will send you the same item at no charge and you can keep the damaged one. Note that since each piece is unique and hand-made, the decoration of the replacement item may not be exactly identical. Our inventory is limited, in the event that we are out of stock of the same item, we will refund your purchase and notify you when it is again available or send you a voucher for future purchase at your choice.
3) Wrong item shipped: In the extremely rare event you did not receive the correct item, we will email you a return slip to send the wrong item back. Once received, we will send you the correct item. 4) Handling charges: We do not bill you for handling charges or packaging material.
5) Shipping charges: Our shipping charges are intended to compensate our company for the cost of delivering your order to you. We bill the shipping charges at cost and the carrier we use may change at any time without warning.
6) Sales tax: Our company is located in Cook County Illinois and by Illinois Department of Revenue regulations; we are obligated to charge the Cook County sales tax rate of 9.5% (as of 07/2010) for orders shipping within Illinois. We do not charge taxes for out of state orders.
7) International Shipping:
We have partnered with Bongo International Parcel and Mail Forwarding to service our international customers.
Bongo International provides it's customers with their very own US address (not a P.O. Box). Once you have a US address, you will be able to make purchases with us as well as other US based online retailers. Bongo receives your purchases and logs them into their online system where you can consolidate them with other orders.
This process saves international customers up to 82% off typical international shipping rates.

7. Choose your domestic shipping method, and Place Order.
8. Once completed, finish your verification process with Bongo.
9. Bongo will take over from here, so communicate directly with them for delivery of your order.
