A Faitout is a traditional ceramic or cast iron casserole with lid used to cook anything. In French, "fait tout" means “do everything” and our clay faitout are simply perfect for everyday simple meals or your elaborate family reunion dinner.

The thick walls and lid evenly cook your food and keep it warm on your table while you enjoy it. Like all our clay cookware, our faitout are traditionally 100% professional handcrafted by French master potters , hand-decorated and protected by a high quality non-stick lead-safe glass like glazing. Pomaire Fair Trade faitouts from Chile are unglazed.

Best used in the oven, they can also be used on stove top with a heat diffuser. Microwaves oven and dishwasher safe.
