It is like comparing a robots-made Corvette with a hand-made Aston Martin. Did you know that it requires 4 to 5 weeks to manufacture our cookware? Most cookware you find in retail, even high quality ones, are made partly or fully by machines and except in rare cases, they are mechanically painted or simply dipped into a paint bath. Our cookware is 100% handmade with centuries old techniques and know-how that can’t be reproduced by machines to match the same quality. Therefore, they can’t be mass produced, which makes them unique and also more expensive but they are well worth the investment.They are more than just cookware, they are pieces of art.
Can you make personalized potteries such as wedding platters?
If you give us enough time for it this is something we can arrange for you. Typically it takes 4 weeks to manufacture an item plus the shipping time from France. If we do not have an order forecasted we can FedEx your order directly from France to your home, we will simply require an advance payment by check or PayPal for both the merchandise and the freight. We could personalize any item we normally sell or make a specific item for you that we do not normally sell, such as platters, plates, mugs and more. Please contact us for arrangements.
I did not find rectangular dishes from Alsace on your web site, why not?
Alsacian rectangular bakers are not hand made and we have decided to only offer the best of the best Alsace bakers which are hand made. However, we do offer unglazed rectangular bakers from Chile (Pomaire region), they look more rustic but are of excellent quality and 100% safe.
